Synopsis

No one wants the old donkey, and the boy is close to giving up. Then a gentle man named Joseph steps forward — he needs to carry his pregnant wife, Mary, to Bethlehem. With that, Small One's journey ends and the Nativity story quietly begins. This half-hour piece marked the directorial debut of Don Bluth, who would later make An American Tail and All Dogs Go to Heaven, back during his Disney years.
