Synopsis
Sherlock Season 4 (2017) — watch online on iFILM: three BBC episodes that push the series into its darkest territory. John and Mary are expecting their first child. Things look almost settled.
They aren't. Episode one hides a deeply personal reckoning inside a trail of smashed Thatcher busts — Mary Watson's buried past surfaces with brutal speed. Episode two sends Holmes after Culverton Smith, a wealthy and seemingly untouchable man whose secret places him in a category all his own. The third episode forces the Holmes brothers to answer for something hidden for decades; the action shifts from Baker Street to Sherrinford, a high-security psychiatric facility where the season's real antagonist has been waiting. Each instalment is heavier than the one before.
Gatiss and Moffat built Season 4 as an ending, not a showcase — less puzzle, more reckoning. Anyone coming to Sherlock fresh should start at Season 1; viewers who've followed since 2010 will find this the hardest watch of all four. Stream Sherlock Season 4 online on iFILM, all episodes available in HD.
