Synopsis

House of Cards Season 4 — watch online on iFILM, all thirteen episodes. Netflix, 2016.

The Underwoods spent three seasons building toward the White House together. Season four is where that partnership breaks apart. Claire leaves the campaign trail and starts pursuing her own congressional seat — and from that point on, Frank's closest ally becomes his most unpredictable problem. He's running against Will Conway, a telegenic Republican who knows exactly how to exploit the cracks. A shooting at a campaign stop reshapes the entire race, and as the season moves toward a contested convention, an investigative reporter starts piecing together accusations that have shadowed Frank for years.

If the third season was about tension between the Underwoods, the fourth is about what happens when that tension snaps. They still perform unity for the cameras while quietly working against each other — and watching that performance unravel is what makes Season 4 the most propulsive of the series.
