Season 6
There are two kinds of pain.
Synopsis
Claire Underwood is now president — and House of Cards Season 6 is the show rebuilt around her. Watch online on iFILM: eight episodes, Netflix, 2018.
Frank is gone. Claire faces the Shepherd siblings — Annette and Bill — a wealthy duo who helped put her in office and intend to collect. Mark Usher is another pressure point. Doug Stamper, unmoored without Frank to serve, pursues his own agenda and edges toward the secrets Claire most wants buried. A Syria crisis and renewed friction with Russia fill the foreign-policy lane, while the domestic threat is just as direct: her enemies are actively plotting to remove her from office and she lets them believe they're winning.
Season 6 compresses the show's mechanics into a tighter package than any previous run. Eight episodes, almost no familiar supporting cast — and that stripped-down structure works precisely because it forces everything through Claire's point of view. It's the whole arc of House of Cards told from the side that was always watching. Stream House of Cards Season 6 online on iFILM.
