Synopsis
Big Business (1988) is a Hollywood comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Director Jim Abrahams built it on a single irresistible premise: two sets of identical twins are accidentally swapped at birth in a small-town hospital in the 1940s, one pair raised wealthy in New York, the other in the rural backwater of Jupiter Hollow.
Four decades later both pairs converge on the same Manhattan hotel. Bette Midler plays both Sadies — one a ruthless corporate shark, one a country girl wide-eyed at the city — and Lily Tomlin does the same double duty as both Roses. Abrahams keeps the mistaken-identity farce moving at genuine pace: corridor near-misses, elevator confrontations, and the two leads each juggling contradictory versions of the same character without ever losing the thread.
