About
Synopsis
Fritz the Cat (1972) is the first X-rated feature-length animated film in Hollywood history — watch it online on iFILM. Director Ralph Bakshi adapted Robert Crumb's underground comics into a razor-sharp satire of late-1960s America that studio animation would never have touched.
Fritz is a restless college tomcat who ditches New York and stumbles through a world of Harlem tenements, radical communes, police riots, and drug-addled biker gangs. The cartoon surface is deceptive — underneath it is a genuinely abrasive snapshot of a country tearing itself apart. Stream Fritz the Cat (1972) on iFILM.
