Synopsis
Animals. (2016) is an HBO animated comedy you can watch online on iFILM — co-created by Phil Matarese and Mike Luciano, following New York City's overlooked residents: rats, pigeons, bedbugs and horses dealing with unrequited love, identity questions and the specific despair of getting older in a city that doesn't notice you.
Each episode is standalone, with a rotating guest voice cast that includes Emilia Clarke, Jonah Hill, Cobie Smulders, Jason Mantzoukas, Nathan Fielder, RuPaul and Demi Moore. The setups are absurd; the conversations sound genuinely, uncomfortably human — about failed ambitions, awkward relationships and figuring out who you are when nobody's watching. The pigeon on your roof has more going on than you'd think.
