Synopsis
Clerks (2000) is Kevin Smith's animated comedy, free to watch online on iFILM. The same slackers behind the counter of his cult black-and-white movie are back — only now they're drawn, louder and completely off the leash.
Dante and Randal still clock in at a dead-end convenience store and spend every shift figuring out how to do as little work as possible. Loitering nearby are dealer Jay and his silent sidekick Silent Bob, while each episode spirals into pure absurdity: blockbuster parodies, a guest turn from Alec Baldwin, and gags way too strange for prime-time ABC. Brian O'Halloran, Jeff Anderson and Jason Mewes himself voice the gang.
The show's backstory is almost as ridiculous as its plots. ABC aired a couple of episodes, pulled the plug, and the series quietly built a devoted following on DVD instead.
