Synopsis
Cyrano de Bergerac (1950) is a watch-online classic on iFILM — director Michael Gordon's adaptation of Edmond Rostand's 1897 stage play. José Ferrer stars as the brilliant soldier-poet whose swordsmanship is legendary. His one weakness: the nose he believes makes him unlovable.
Roxane (Mala Powers) is head over heels for the gallant but tongue-tied Christian. Cyrano writes the love letters in Christian's name, pouring every real feeling he keeps locked away into words Roxane will read as someone else's. The arrangement holds — until war, grief and time force everything into the open.
