After a near-death experience as a kid, Darby Harper developed the ability to see ghosts. High school bores her; the dead keep her busy — she runs a quiet side business counseling local spirits. Then Capri, the most popular girl at school, dies unexpectedly and comes looking for help. Darby is the only one who can hear her, which is inconvenient for both of them. It's a warm YA comedy that uses the ghost premise as a lens on loneliness more than as horror fuel, with Tony Danza and Derek Luke in supporting roles adding a bit of weight.
