Synopsis
The Etruscan Smile (2018) — watch online on iFILM. Directed by Oded Binnun and Mihal Brezis, this American drama stars Brian Cox as Rory MacNeil, a gruff Scottish islander who leaves the Hebrides for the first time in years to seek medical treatment in San Francisco.
He moves in with his estranged son — awkward from the first evening. Then a baby grandson enters the picture. What follows isn't quite a reconciliation story; it's quieter than that. Rory learns, slowly, how to be present for someone who doesn't yet know he failed anyone. Rosanna Arquette and Thora Birch round out a strong supporting cast.
