Synopsis

Clara Oswald steps outside on Christmas Eve to find Santa Claus stranded on her roof — sleigh crash, no explanation given. The Doctor arrives shortly after, and the two are pulled to an Arctic research station where scientists are under attack from creatures that blur the line between sleep and waking. Nick Frost plays Santa with such deadpan conviction that he nearly steals the episode from the leads.
