Synopsis

Having secretly carried components for the bomb later dropped on Hiroshima to the island of Tinian, the ship is torpedoed by a Japanese submarine on the way home. Tom Sizemore, Thomas Jane and Matt Lanter fill out the crew under Mario Van Peebles' direction.
The story sticks close to one of the U.S. Navy's worst sea disasters, right down to the court-martial that hung McVay out for a loss that wasn't his fault.
