Synopsis
Inspector Morse Season 3 — four ITV episodes from 1989, all available to watch online on iFILM. Oxford keeps its respectable surface intact. Underneath, as ever, it does not.
A baronet's stolen erotic paintings surface just as a vote for the new Courtney College Master turns vicious. A body pulled from the canal connects back to the same poisoned academic world, where a prestigious appointment is worth killing for. An old-boys' cricket afternoon ends with a member dead — and the motive turns out to have nothing to do with cricket. The season closes with a strangled architect in a locked car: a parking ticket, a diary, and a love triangle that runs deeper than anyone initially admits.

As well as the pictures, Sir Julius himself has also disappeared. Morse finds Sir Julius's dead body, and at first it looks like murder, but the new police pathologist, Dr Grayling Russell, believes he killed himself. Then there is another death which is undoubtedly a murder - but how is it connected with the late Sir Julius Hanbury?
