Synopsis
Ewoks: The Battle for Endor (1985) is a Star Wars universe TV movie directed by Jim Wheat and Ken Wheat — watch online on iFILM. It picks up where Caravan of Courage left off: young Cindel's family is wiped out in a Marauder raid led by the imposing King Terak, leaving her stranded on the forest moon of Endor with Wicket the Ewok, played by Warwick Davis.
The two find shelter with Noa, a gruff old hermit played by Wilford Brimley — who, it turns out, has his own reasons for wanting to leave the planet. The film is squarely aimed at younger viewers, with chases, sorcery, and a clean moral resolution, but it handles its darker opening better than many franchise tie-ins of the era. For anyone who grew up with the original trilogy, this one carries a real dose of that mid-80s Saturday-morning adventure feeling. Stream Ewoks: The Battle for Endor (1985) on iFILM.
