The Fall

The Fall (2019) is Jonathan Glazer's seven-minute horror short, ready to watch online on iFILM. A crowd in identical grinning masks corners a single man, strings him up from a tree — then drops him down a pit where the falling never seems to stop.

Glazer made the piece for BBC Two with no dialogue at all: just masks, woodland and the slow hum of an anonymous mob. The British director behind Sexy Beast, Under the Skin and The Zone of Interest turns seven minutes into a parable about pile-ons and herd cruelty, where the victim is as faceless as the people hunting him.
