Synopsis
The Kiss of the Vampire (1963) is a British Hammer horror you can watch online on iFILM. Newlyweds Gerald and Marianne are touring Bavaria when their car runs dry on a lonely road, leaving them stranded for the night below a brooding chateau that looms over the village.
Its owner, the smooth Doctor Ravna, invites the couple up for dinner. Behind his fine manners and his charming family hides an old cult of blooddrinkers, and Marianne's beauty marks her as their next prize. Gerald is left to pull his wife out of a house no one walks away from, with only one ally: a hard-drinking vampire hunter who lost his own daughter to the same chateau.
Director Don Sharp delivered one of Hammer's most elegant chillers, building to a masked ball and a famous climax in which a swarm of bats turns on the undead.
