Synopsis
The Haunted World of El Superbeasto (2009) is an R-rated animated horror-comedy written and directed by Rob Zombie, available to watch online on iFILM. El Superbeasto is a Mexican wrestler and C-list movie star navigating a world overrun by monsters, strippers, and Nazi gorillas. His sister Suzi-X, voiced by Sheri Moon Zombie, does most of the actual shooting.
The plot involves Dr. Satan — voiced by Paul Giamatti — trying to unlock demonic powers by marrying a stripper who carries the Devil's birthmark. Rosario Dawson voices the unwilling bride. What matters less than the premise is the delivery: Zombie draws on Tex Avery, old-school gross-out cartoons, and wall-to-wall B-movie references to build something that runs at a deliberate fever pitch for 77 minutes.
