The Hunter

The Hunter (1980) is the action-comedy you can watch online on iFILM, and it carries extra weight: it was Steve McQueen's final film. He plays Ralph "Papa" Thorson, a real-life bounty hunter who runs down fugitives who jumped bail across Illinois, Texas and Nebraska.

Thorson has bagged thousands of skips over the years, but time has caught up with him. He's slower now, he's a genuinely terrible driver, and he'd rather fuss over his antique cars than chase anyone down. Then a vengeful psychopath flips the job around and starts hunting the hunter. Eli Wallach, Kathryn Harrold and a young LeVar Burton fill out his world.
