Rebound

Rebound (2005) is a family sports comedy you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Steve Carr. Martin Lawrence plays Roy McCormick, a hotshot college basketball coach who loses his job after melting down publicly at center court — and gets stuck coaching a hopeless junior-high squad full of kids who have no business near a basketball.

The setup is entirely familiar: mismatched group resists outsider, outsider softens, scrappy underdogs defy the odds. What Carr doesn't give the script in originality, Lawrence fills with his usual high-energy irritability. He's genuinely funnier when he's surrounded by chaos he can't control, and a gym full of terrible twelve-year-olds provides plenty of it.
