Urban Legends: Bloody Mary (2005) is an American horror film you can watch online on iFILM. Director Mary Lambert — who made the first two Pet Sematary films — returned to horror with a premise that strings together classic urban legends into a revenge-from-beyond narrative.
Three high school girls summon Bloody Mary on a dare at a party. The spirit that wakes up is a student who vanished on prom night thirty years earlier, and she's working her way through the people responsible — one urban legend death at a time. Each kill is its own set piece, from spiders-under-the-skin to the mirror apparition, giving the film a slightly anthology-like structure. Kate Mara shows up in one of her early roles as the brother of a victim trying to figure out what's happening before it happens to him. The movie was made for Sci Fi Channel, which sets the right expectations for budget and ambition.
