Synopsis
Beethoven's 4th (2001) is an American family comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Director David Mickey Evans puts a classic twist on the beloved Saint Bernard: while out for a walk, Beethoven bumps into his exact double — a well-mannered, impeccably trained dog named Michelangelo — and the two swap families.
The Newton household braces for chaos as usual, only to find their dog suddenly sitting still, behaving, and impressing everyone. Meanwhile, the snobbish family that owns the real Michelangelo gets the full Beethoven experience. Judge Reinhold and Julia Sweeney reprise their roles, navigating the confusion with the kind of exasperated warmth the series does well. It's a simple premise played for laughs, and for younger viewers who love dogs and slapstick, it lands exactly where it aims. Stream Beethoven's 4th online on iFILM.
