Synopsis
Goodbye, Don Glees! (グッバイ、ドン・グリーズ！, 2022) is a Japanese animated feature you can watch online on iFILM. Three small-town teens call their backyard summer adventures the "Don Glees" — a private joke that means nothing to anyone else. Then a forest fire breaks out, and the whole village pins it on them.
To clear their names, Roma, Toto and Drop hike into the mountains after a crashed drone that filmed the night in question. The trip stretches farther than they meant it to, and the friendship starts to crack under the strain. Each boy is quietly growing into a different life, and the journey forces them to admit it out loud. Director Atsuko Ishizuka frames all of this with a tender ache for the childhood slipping away.
