Synopsis
One Piece: Curse of the Sacred Sword (ONE PIECE 呪われた聖剣, 2004) is a Toei Animation action-adventure film you can watch online on iFILM. Directed by Kazuhisa Takenochi, this 95-minute standalone chapter of Eiichiro Oda's pirate saga puts the crew's swordsman — not Luffy — at the story's centre.
The Straw Hats land on Asuka Island, home of the legendary Seven Star Sword, a blade said to drain the life from anyone who wields it. Zoro vanishes, then shows up fighting alongside the Marines. Behind it: Saga, a childhood training partner who has claimed the cursed weapon and intends to take the sacred orbs kept by the island's young priestess. Luffy and the others have to piece together what happened to their fighter before the sword claims everything. The film works best as a showcase for Zoro's loyalty — a quality the TV arcs hint at but rarely test this directly.
