Synopsis
Bloodsport II (1996) is an underground fighting actioner you can watch online on iFILM. American thief Alex Cardo is caught stealing an antique katana in East Asia and thrown into a brutal prison, where a guard nicknamed Demon makes a daily ritual out of beating him.
Behind bars Alex finds a mentor in old Master Sun (Pat Morita), who eventually agrees to teach him a rare discipline called Iron Hand. When a secret kumite — a "best of the best" tournament — is announced, Demon scores an invitation too. Now student and teacher have to muscle Alex into the bracket so the reckoning happens in the ring instead of a cell.
This direct-to-video follow-up to the Van Damme hit rests on stuntman Daniel Bernhardt's footwork and Pat Morita's quiet authority. A fun bit for genre fans: future John Wick director Chad Stahelski turns up among the fighters. Plain, unpretentious stuff for anyone who loves nineties tournament brawls.
