Synopsis
Term Life (2016) is an American crime thriller directed by Peter Billingsley — watch online on iFILM. Vince Vaughn plays Nick Barrow, a man who makes his living designing heists and selling the plans to whoever pays. When one of his deals goes wrong, the fallout lands him on the hit lists of the mob, rival criminals, and a crew of dirty cops, all at once. Hailee Steinfeld plays his estranged daughter who gets pulled into the mess.
With nowhere to turn, Nick takes out a million-dollar life insurance policy in her name. The catch: it doesn't kick in for 21 days, and his current odds of surviving 21 hours are not great. The film is less interested in the action mechanics than in what it takes for a father who checked out long ago to matter to his kid when it counts.
