Synopsis
I'm Alan Partridge (1997) is a British sitcom you can watch online on iFILM. Once a national chat-show host, Alan Partridge has crash-landed onto the graveyard shift at Radio Norwich, still convinced that telly will take him back any day now.
Divorced and holed up in the Linton Travel Tavern, Alan fills his days badgering BBC executives about a second series that is never coming and tormenting his long-suffering assistant Lynn. Steve Coogan plays him as a monument to wounded vanity: tactless, needy, somehow endearing. Co-written by Coogan, Armando Iannucci and Patrick Marber, the show turned plain social embarrassment into an art form and shaped a whole generation of British comedy that came after it.
