Pulled back into duty, Conners gets saddled with rookie partner Shane Dekker. When the SWAT team breaches the building, the robbers vanish into the crowd of hostages — and walk out without grabbing a single bill. The catch surfaces afterward: during the standoff, a billion dollars was siphoned out of bank accounts through a planted exploit. Jason Statham plays Conners, Ryan Phillippe is Dekker, and Wesley Snipes brings ice-cold menace as Lorenz, who keeps thinning out his own accomplices.

The title nods to chaos theory: the louder the panic at the bank, the cleaner the money slips away. The film lives on its how-did-they-do-it mechanics and on two cops chasing a mind always one move ahead.
