This is the seventh Bring It On film and the first to trade sports-comedy for a straight slasher. Director Karen Lam locks her cast (Kerri Medders, Tiera Skovbye, Missi Pyle) inside the dark halls overnight, where pom-poms and human pyramids share the floor with a hooded murderer.
