Synopsis

It opens on something that looks routine: a drug runner gunned down outside his own flat. The further Tennison digs, the clearer it gets that the threads run up to a smooth, untouchable local crime boss everyone would rather leave alone. Then a misjudgement of hers costs a teenage boy his life, and the second part becomes a hunt to corner a man the law keeps failing to reach — before the cost climbs higher.
This run is shorter and meaner than the ones before it: two episodes instead of three, weighted toward the price of a bad call rather than the puzzle itself.
