Weird Science (1994) is a comedy sci-fi series you can watch online on iFILM, built on the John Hughes film of the same name. Gary Wallace and Wyatt Donnelly are the kind of high schoolers who get shoved into lockers and have nothing to show for it. One overnight computer experiment changes their situation entirely: Lisa steps out of the screen — a near-omnipotent woman ready to grant whatever they ask.

The catch is that what they ask for almost always explodes. Lisa is equal parts wish-granter and reluctant life coach, and Vanessa Angel plays her with a dry patience that makes the whole thing work.
