Northern Exposure (1990) is an American comedy-drama series you can watch online on iFILM, all six seasons. Fresh out of Columbia Medical School, Dr. Joel Fleischman lands in Cicely, Alaska — a town of a few hundred people, moose on the main road, and a philosophical DJ on the local radio station. His scholarship came with strings: years of rural service, no escape clause.

Rob Morrow plays Joel as a man who is right about everything and wrong about what matters. Cicely has a retired astronaut, a bush pilot named Maggie (Janine Turner) who finds Joel both irritating and magnetic, and a community of Alaska Native residents whose sense of time and meaning quietly dismantles the doctor's certainties. The show is patient enough to let that happen over six years.
