Synopsis

A wandering swordsman named Chu Chung takes shelter in a ruined temple for the night. He rescues a spell-casting monk — played by Shing Fui-On — who, in return, lets him pass through a wall mural inhabited by three spirit women. One catch: he must be back before dawn. Inside the painting Chu Chung falls for the fairy Yi-Mung, brought to life by Pauline Chan Bo-Lin. The mural's mistress has other plans — she wants the living man as a key to break through into the mortal world. Kenny Wong plays Chu Chung's loyally doomed companion.
