Witch Craft Works (Season 1)

Witch Craft Works (2014) is a Japanese fantasy-action anime you can watch online on iFILM. That's Kagari — a powerful fire witch whose job is to guard Honoka, and who can finally do it out in the open. It turns out Fuyutsuki Academy is crawling with witches split into two camps: the "Workshop" side that keeps order and the "Tower" side that uses magic purely to wreck and amuse themselves. Rare male mages like Honoka suddenly become prized targets. Why Kagari insists on calling him "my princess" is its own mystery.

Adapted from Ryū Mizunaga's manga by studio J.C.Staff, it pairs bright animation and snappy fight scenes with a sly twist on school romance, deliberately flipping who protects whom.
