Synopsis
The Prince of Tennis (テニスの王子様, 2001) is a Japanese sports anime you can watch online on iFILM. It follows Ryoma Echizen, a twelve-year-old prodigy who returns from America trailing a cocky reputation.
Ryoma enrolls at Seishun Academy, home to one of the most feared tennis clubs in Japan. Just making the team means brawling past upperclassmen who resent the smug newcomer, his wicked twist serve, and the way he plays just as sharply with either hand. What rattles his rivals most, though, is how cool he stays under pressure. And school matches are only the warm-up before nationals.
Adapted from Takeshi Konomi's blockbuster manga, the series spun off into films, stage musicals and sequels over the years.
