Synopsis
"NOKAS" (2010) — a Norwegian crime drama about the largest cash robbery in the country's history, watch online on iFILM. On April 5, 2004, eleven men in mock special-forces gear stormed the NOKAS cash-handling centre in Stavanger, cleared out 57 million kroner in under twenty minutes, and shot a police officer dead. Director Erik Skjoldbjærg — known for the original "Insomnia" (1997) — reconstructed the events not from dramatic imagination but from courtroom testimony and eyewitness accounts.
No score swells. No dramatized backstory. The camera tracks the people who were there — robbers, guards, the first officers arriving — and stays with them. Shot in a quasi-documentary style that makes the whole thing harder to shake than a conventional heist movie. Stream "NOKAS" online on iFILM.
