Synopsis
All Nighter (2017) is a comedy you can watch online on iFILM, starring J.K. Simmons and Emile Hirsch. Martin is not handling the breakup well — his apartment says everything. Then Ginnie's father knocks on the door: Mr. Gallo, a high-powered executive with a two-hour layover, a missing daughter, and zero patience for excuses.
Gallo has lost touch with Ginnie and the only lead he has is the slouchy ex she left behind. So Martin gets dragged into a night-long scramble across Los Angeles, paired with a man who is basically his opposite in every measurable way. Director Gavin Wiesen plays the comedy almost entirely off that clash: Simmons delivers the controlling, oblivious father with such committed intensity that Hirsch's baffled sidekick energy becomes genuinely funny. The film runs tight at 86 minutes and does not overstay its premise.
