Saga of Tanya the Evil (幼女戦記, 2017) is a war-and-magic anime series you can watch online on iFILM. A coldly rational Japanese salaryman is shoved in front of a train, and because he denied God to the end, a furious deity drops his soul into a new body. He wakes up as Tanya Degurechaff: a blonde orphan with a child's lisp and the ruthless mind of a forty-year-old careerist.

The setting is an Empire modeled on Imperial Germany on the brink of total war, a world where battle mages fight in the sky and Tanya happens to be frighteningly gifted at it. She enlists out of pure calculation — survive, climb the ranks, and outmaneuver the Creator she treats as a personal enemy. The higher she rises, the more brutal the orders she gives without blinking. Aoi Yuki voices her, and the gap between that sweet little voice and the ice underneath carries the whole show.

Adapted from Carlo Zen's light novels by studio NUT, this is no cozy fantasy — it's a hard military drama of trenches, artillery and arguments about faith and free will.
