Timothy Omundson's Richard quietly walks off with the show, turning the big bad villain into its most loveable loser.

The songs come from Alan Menken, the composer behind The Little Mermaid and Aladdin, and it shows: the tunes are written for real while the lyrics skewer every knights-and-dragons cliché at once.
