Synopsis
Schmigadoon! (2021) is an Apple TV+ musical comedy you can watch online on iFILM. A couple on the rocks gets stranded in a magical town where everyone bursts into song like it's a 1940s Broadway show.
Josh and Melissa, two big-city doctors, set out on a backpacking trip to fix their relationship and stumble into Schmigadoon instead. The rule of the place: you can't leave until you find true love. The catch is that they thought they'd already found it in each other — they've just stopped believing it. Meanwhile the impossibly cheerful townsfolk keep breaking into full orchestral numbers.
Keegan-Michael Key and Cecily Strong anchor this loving parody of golden-age musicals, with Oklahoma! and Carousel all over its DNA.
