Synopsis
Pacific Rim: The Black (2021), Season 2 is a Netflix anime action series you can watch online on iFILM — seven episodes that pick up with Hayley and Taylor still piloting the battered Atlas Destroyer toward Sydney.
The trouble this time is Boy. He keeps shifting into a Kaiju, which terrifies the crew — everyone except Hayley, who refuses to give up on him. A cult called the Sisters of the Kaiju, who worship the monsters as gods, wants him for their own ends and hunts the Jaeger across the valley. The siblings clash over what to do with him, chase a lead on their missing mother, and push for the safety of Sydney Base while the creatures close in.
Polygon Pictures keeps the bleak, hand-animated tone of the first run but tightens the screws — fewer episodes, higher stakes, a final stretch that throws the kids against a Category VI Kaiju.
