Synopsis
Motherland (2017) is a British comedy series you can watch online on iFILM. Director Juliet May zeroes in on middle-class parenting — and it turns out not one of these people had it figured out.
Two mothers anchor the show. Amanda runs her household like a military operation: colour-coded schedules, punctual kids, everything controlled. Liz operates at the opposite end — chaos at home, laissez-faire philosophy dressed up as progressive parenting. Anna Maxwell Martin and Diana Morgan play off each other with sharp, unfussy comic timing, while Paul Ready and Lucy Punch round out the main cast.
