Synopsis
Kung Fu Panda: Secrets of the Scroll (2016) is a 23-minute DreamWorks animated special you can watch online on iFILM. Directed by Rodolphe Guenoden, it fills in the origin story the main trilogy only hinted at — how five very different fighters ended up forming the Furious Five.
Po is hunting for his missing action figures when he stumbles into the very chain of events that brought Tigress, Viper, Monkey, Crane and Mantis together under Master Oogway's guidance. Jack Black, Dustin Hoffman, Lucy Liu and Seth Rogen all reprise their roles. Short enough to watch on a lunch break, it rewards fans who ever wondered how the team started before Po showed up.
