Synopsis
Good Guys Go to Heaven, Bad Guys Go to Pattaya (Pattaya, 2016) is a French comedy from Franck Gastambide, and you can watch it online on iFILM. Two buddies from the Paris suburbs dream of trading their grey tower blocks for the beaches of Thailand's most notorious resort. They have no money — but they do have an utterly insane plan.
Here's the plan: secretly enter a short-statured guy from their neighborhood into the Dwarf Boxing World Championship being held in Pattaya, and ride his ticket all the way to paradise. Franky (Gastambide), a gym-obsessed Vin Diesel superfan, and the insecure rich kid Krimo (Malik Bentalha) are sure it'll go smoothly. It does not. Ramzy Bedia and Gad Elmaleh join the chaos as the dream holiday curdles into a string of scams, beatdowns, and bad decisions.
Gastambide directs it crude, loud, and with zero regard for good taste — broadly the same lane as The Hangover, only with a French accent and Thai sun.
