Wizards: Tales of Arcadia (Season 1)

Wizards: Tales of Arcadia (2020) is a Netflix animated miniseries and the final chapter of Guillermo del Toro's Arcadia trilogy — watch it online on iFILM. Merlin's apprentice Douxie joins the heroes of Arcadia on a time-travel jump back to Camelot, where the long-running tensions between humans, trolls, and magical beings are about to break into open war.

The show is a ten-episode capstone to storylines that began in Trollhunters and continued through 3Below. Characters from both series reunite here, and the medieval setting gives the writing room to pay off threads that have been running for years. The voice cast includes Lena Headey, Alfred Molina, Emil Hirsch and David Bradley — people who know how to handle exposition without making it feel like homework.

One short season is exactly what this story needed. It doesn't overstay, and it delivers the ending the trilogy was building toward.
