This is the year reality starts pushing back a little. Abbi covers Ilana's shift at a militant food co-op, figures out Tinder, and takes a trip to her childhood home in Philadelphia to fix something from her past. Ilana loses her bike-lock key, tries to hide a rat infestation mid-party, and stumbles into an unexpected job. By the back half, both women hit breaking points in their love lives at once, and the final two episodes turn into a frantic dash to the airport and a flight that strands the season on a cliff. Louder than ever, but quietly aware that growing up is sneaking up on them.
