Synopsis
009 Re:Cyborg (2012) is Kenji Kamiyama's science-fiction anime, ready to watch online on iFILM. On a single day, explosions tear through London, Moscow, Berlin and New York, and the skyscrapers come down one after another.
The force behind the panic can't be stopped with ordinary weapons. Nine cyborgs once saved the planet; now Dr. Gilmore tracks them down across their separate countries and restores the memories that were wiped clean. The Zero Zero team reassembles — but this time the enemy is blurred, almost untouchable, and the bombings carry a strange "voice" that each of them reads differently. Kamiyama, who directed Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, reshapes Shotaro Ishinomori's classic into an edgy, post-9/11 thriller about faith and fear.
