Synopsis
Joyful Noise (2012) is a musical comedy you can watch online on iFILM. The small Georgia town of Pacashau has fallen on hard times, and its church choir — chasing a win at a national competition — is about the only thing keeping spirits up.
When the longtime choir director dies, two women clash over what comes next. Vi Rose Hill, played by Queen Latifah, wants to keep the tried-and-true gospel sound, while G.G. Sparrow, the late director's widow played by Dolly Parton, pushes to modernize everything. The feud heats up when G.G.'s grandson Randy arrives: he's clearly got talent, and he's got his eye on Vi Rose's daughter, so the personal and the musical tangle fast.
