Transformers: Animated (2007) is a Cartoon Network series you can watch online on iFILM. Set in near-future Detroit, the show follows a small Autobot crew led by Optimus Prime — voiced by David Kaye — who crash-land on Earth and immediately have to keep the Allspark away from Megatron and the Decepticons.

Three seasons in, the series built a tightly connected mythology: episodes introduce new villains or pull back on a character's origin rather than resetting every week. Artist Derrick Wyatt's thick-outlined, angular design language divides franchise fans, but it gives the action sequences a distinctive visual punch. The voice cast also includes Bumper Robinson as Bumblebee, Tara Strong, Tom Kenny, and Lance Henriksen.
