Synopsis
Shaun the Sheep (2007) is a clay-animated series from Aardman Animations — watch all episodes online on iFILM. Each instalment runs about seven minutes and contains no dialogue at all: just bleating, grunting, and expressive plasticine faces that do the work of a full script. Shaun is the cleverest sheep on the farm and uses that edge to pull off schemes that tip the whole place into cheerful disorder.
Bitzer the sheepdog tries to keep a lid on things before the Farmer notices anything. The Farmer always notices the aftermath. Never the cause. The rest of the flock follow Shaun's lead with varying degrees of enthusiasm.
Shaun started as a minor character in the 1995 Wallace and Gromit short A Close Shave — Aardman gave him his own series twelve years later, and it picked up a BAFTA along the way. The show works for every age that can sit still for seven minutes, which is most of them. Stream every season of Shaun the Sheep on iFILM.
